Bark & Blossom – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Bark & Blossom. Our aim is to provide a safe, calm and enjoyable grooming experience for every dog.

Appointments

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

 If you are running late, please let us know. Appointments more than 15 minutes late may need to be shortened or rescheduled.

 Dogs must be kept on a lead when arriving and leaving the salon.

Cancellations

 We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

 Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a charge of up to 50% of the grooming fee.

Health & Welfare

Owners must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies or behavioural concerns before the appointment.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop a groom if continuing would compromise your dog's welfare or the safety of others.

Matting

Severe matting can be painful and may require a close shave for your dog's comfort.

 While every care is taken, removing matted coats may reveal or cause minor skin irritation, nicks or redness, and Bark & Blossom cannot be held responsible for issues caused by the condition of the coat.

Fleas

If fleas are found during the groom, a flea treatment fee may be applied, and the salon will be sanitised to protect other dogs.

Puppies & Nervous Dogs

We work on a one-to-one basis to create a calm, positive experience and may recommend shorter introductory sessions where appropriate.

Payments

Payment is due on collection by cash or bank transfer.

Grooming Results

Every dog’s coat is different, and the final result can depend on coat condition, previous grooming, matting, breed and the dog’s behaviour during the appointment.

 We will always aim to achieve the agreed style where it is safe and suitable for your dog.

 We cannot guarantee an exact result where the coat condition or behaviour prevents this.

Accidents & Emergencies

Every care will be taken to ensure your dog is safe and comfortable while in our care.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, we may contact you and, where necessary, seek veterinary assistance.

Any veterinary costs resulting from a pre-existing or undisclosed medical condition will remain the owner’s responsibility.

Photography

We love sharing our work on social media and our website. Please let us know if you would prefer your dog's photos not to be used
